| Job Title: Senior Engineering Manager |
| Description |
| Brookwood Aviation wish to appoint a Senior Engineering Manager to work with the engineering team responsible for the supporting Hawk.
The key accountabilities of the job holder are as follows:
To manage and control Contract outputs for depth support operations.
Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
Liaise with Fleet Management Authorities as required.
To manage the scheduled maintenance programme.
Ensure reported failures, incident reports and defect reports are investigated and actioned in accordance with current regulations.
Ensure correct allocation of resources within the Depth Support area to ensure engineering output meet the contract requirements.
Ensure appropriate Human Factors programme is maintained.
Manage technical training in line with agreed contract training plan to ensure targets can be met.
Deputise for Head of Aircraft Maintenance.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:
Qualifications and Experience
Previously hold an RAF SENGO post or equivalent
EASA Engineering, holding equivalent to Engineering Director under CAA guidelines
Significant management experience within aircraft operations
Maintenance experience, must have been in a line management capacity
Significant understanding of airworthiness, specifically military airworthiness processes
Thorough understanding of engineering practices, manuals, documentation, schedules, quality assurance requirements and regulatory requirements
Proven record of achievement
Commercially astute - understands commercial and budgetary constraints
Able to demonstrate past fulfillment of significant objectives within given timelines
Able to implement and maintain effective working practices
Able to bring about effective change management processes
Understanding of Health, Safety and Quality issues
Skills
Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Excellent project management skills
Ability to influence
Worked in a unionised environment
Highly coputer literate
Ability to produce quality reports, produce presentations and provide written and oral briefings to Executive level
