| Brookwood Aviation has a vacancy for a Health, Safety and Environment Co-ordinator to assist the Health and Safety Department in the management of Health and Safety matters for a well known clietn in Wales
Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, the jobholder will ideally be performing a similar role and is familiar with Health and Safety best practice within a large and diverse organisation. Key accountabilities of the role are as follows:
To establish credibility as an expert of health, Safety and Environmental systems and practice.
The position is both varied and demanding operating at all levels within the business. Therefore, the ability to meet both internal and external customer needs is essential.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:
Qualifications and Experience
At least two years experience of working in a Health, Safety and Environment role.
Ideally possess a NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
General knowledge of all aspects of Health and Safety practice and legislation.
Experience of Environmental Management.
Experience of internal auditing to BSI Standards.
Have a good working knowledge of the risk assessment process.
Skills
Ability to produce reports, create presentations and provide written and oral briefings to Management.
